How Many Boxes Should You Order?
Each box contains three monthly contact lenses.
- One box provides a three-month supply for one eye.
- For a complete three-month supply for both eyes, order two boxes.
- If your right and left eyes have different prescriptions, add one box using the right-eye prescription and another box using the left-eye prescription.
- Even when both eyes have the same prescription, two boxes are required for three complete months of wear for both eyes.
- One box with the same power for both eyes provides one complete month for both eyes, with one lens remaining.
How to Select Your Toric Prescription
SPH — Sphere
SPH is your main eyesight power. Select the exact value written under SPH, Sphere or Power on your contact-lens prescription.
CYL — Cylinder
CYL represents the amount of astigmatism correction required. The available CYL powers are -0.75, -1.25, -1.75 and -2.25.
AXIS
AXIS represents the direction of your astigmatism correction and is measured in degrees. Select the exact value written on your prescription between 10° and 180°.
Do not interchange SPH, CYL and AXIS values. A spectacle prescription should not be converted into a contact-lens prescription without guidance from a qualified eye-care professional.
Monthly Lens Care Instructions
Aspire AIR Toric is a reusable monthly contact lens. Each lens must be properly cleaned, disinfected and stored after removal using fresh contact-lens solution and a clean lens case.
- Replace each lens one month after opening, or earlier if advised.
- Wash and completely dry your hands before handling lenses.
- Clean and disinfect the lenses after every use.
- Always use fresh contact-lens solution.
- Never reuse or top up old solution.
- Never rinse lenses or the lens case with tap water.
- Remove the lenses before sleeping unless your eye-care professional has specifically approved overnight wear.
- Remove lenses before showering, swimming or entering a hot tub.
- Do not wear a lens if its blister packaging is damaged or already open.
- Stop wearing the lenses and consult an eye-care professional if you experience persistent redness, pain, irritation, unusual watering, light sensitivity or blurred vision.
The FDA and CDC recommend removing contact lenses before sleeping or water activities and correctly cleaning and disinfecting reusable lenses to reduce the risk of irritation and eye infection.
UV Protection
Aspire AIR Toric lenses include a Class 1 UV blocker, which CooperVision states blocks more than 90% of UVA and more than 99% of UVB transmission. However, contact lenses do not cover the entire eye or surrounding skin and are not a replacement for UV-protective sunglasses.
Important Purchase Note
Contact lenses are prescription-based medical devices. Order only the brand, power, base curve, diameter, cylinder and axis prescribed or approved by your eye-care professional. Individual comfort and suitability may vary.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are CooperVision Aspire AIR Toric contact lenses?
CooperVision Aspire AIR Toric lenses are monthly replacement silicone hydrogel contact lenses designed to correct astigmatism. They use Optimised Toric Lens Geometry™ to support stable lens positioning and consistently clear vision.
Are Aspire AIR Toric lenses monthly or daily lenses?
They are reusable monthly replacement lenses. Each lens should be cleaned and disinfected after removal and replaced one month after opening, according to professional advice.
How many lenses are included in one box?
Each Aspire AIR Toric box contains three individually packed contact lenses.
How long does one box last?
One box provides a three-month supply for one eye. Two boxes are required for three months of wear for both eyes.
Do I need two boxes if both eyes have the same power?
Yes. Two boxes provide six lenses, which is enough for both eyes for three complete months.
Can I order different prescriptions for my right and left eyes?
Yes. Select and add the right-eye prescription first, then select and add the left-eye prescription separately.
Are Aspire AIR Toric lenses made for astigmatism?
Yes. These are toric contact lenses specifically designed for people who require SPH, CYL and AXIS correction for astigmatism.
What powers are available at East West Opticals?
East West Opticals offers SPH from 0.00 to -8.00, CYL powers of -0.75, -1.25, -1.75 and -2.25, and AXIS options from 10° to 180°.
What material are Aspire AIR Toric lenses made from?
They are made from fanfilcon A silicone hydrogel with 55% water content.
What are the base curve and diameter?
The base curve is 8.5 mm, and the diameter is 14.5 mm.
Do Aspire AIR Toric lenses have UV protection?
Yes. They include a Class 1 UV blocker, but they should still be used with UV-protective sunglasses because contact lenses do not cover the complete eye area.
Can I sleep in Aspire AIR Toric lenses?
They should be removed before sleeping unless an eye-care professional has specifically instructed otherwise. Sleeping in daily-wear contact lenses may increase the risk of irritation or infection.
Can I swim or shower while wearing them?
No. Remove contact lenses before swimming, showering or entering a hot tub. Contact lenses should not be exposed to water.
Can I use my glasses prescription?
Not automatically. Spectacle and contact-lens prescriptions can differ. Use a valid contact-lens prescription or consult an eye-care professional before ordering.
